From first draft to published book with a clear message
“If you are thinking of writing a book, then you should definitely speak to Debbie and her team to understand how they can help you get your thinking out into the world.”

The Challenge: A Strong First Draft Without the Right Publishing Partner
Ian already had a complete first draft and a clear message he wanted to put into the world. Another hybrid publisher had offered to print the book, but the fees were beyond his budget, and the process felt transactional rather than collaborative.
What mattered most to him wasn’t simply getting the book published. He wanted to work with a publisher who genuinely believed in the quality and value of the ideas inside it — someone who would help strengthen the work, not just process it.
At the same time, he was navigating the uncertainty many first-time authors face as they try to understand the publishing landscape. The differences between traditional publishing, hybrid publishing, assisted self-publishing, and self-publishing weren’t always clear, and he wanted confidence that he was choosing the right path.
A chance introduction through a connection in Birmingham, Andy Bass, ultimately led him to Asset Path.

The Solution: Transform a Draft into a Clear, Strong, Intellectual Asset
We worked together to refine the manuscript, strengthen the positioning of the book, and turn the core ideas into a more structured intellectual asset.
Solution Step 1: Sharpening the Script
The first step was editing for clarity and audience alignment.
Together, we stripped out two chapters that spoke to a different audience and rewrote the introduction to better frame the message and purpose of the book. The focus became identifying the central model at the heart of the manuscript and building the surrounding assets around that core idea.

Solution Step 2: Editorial and Design Support
Once the manuscript was structurally ready, the process moved into production.
Our team provided editing and design support to help shape the book into a polished, professional product while preserving the author’s voice and expertise.
Solution Step 3: Navigating Publication
Publishing a book across multiple platforms can feel overwhelming without guidance.
We supported him through the technical side of the process, including navigating the complexities of uploading and distributing the book across the relevant publishing platforms.

Here's what Ian has to say:
“Anyone who is thinking of writing a book, has started and faltered or who, like me, has a script and needs to get it over the line and out into the world should definitely speak to Debs and her team”
What Debbie Says About Ian
"Ian already had the concept and the draft. What he wanted was a publisher who believed in the book, not one who would take his money to print it. Once we sharpened the script and found the model at its heart, the launch did the rest.
He reached people from day one because he had built a Book Lovers Team who loved the concept as much as they loved Ian. That is what happens when a good idea is shaped into a real asset and sent into the world properly."
